Echo Base Quartet

These guys played a private party here at OTP back in late July. During soundcheck, we knew that we were hearing a group of guys who are ready to tear up a dance party. These guys did just that, they threw down tons of high energy jams and covered some bands that not many dare to cover, like Umphrey’s McGee and Lotus. We are pumped to get them back and give the public a night to rage with them!
“The Echo Base Quartet has been striving to bring a progressive and funky sound to the St. Louis Area since 2015. If you have been to an EBQ show, you would know to expect tasteful improvisation, very few breaks between songs, and a broad variety of genre ranging anywhere from progrock to easy listening grateful dead style. The four members had joined forces in 2013, all sharing similar music interests as well as a common goal of making the St. Louis music scene just a little more enjoyable. If you attend Echo Base Quartet shows consistantly, you could consider yourself an “Echo Babe”. Echo babes are the by far the most important part of the band.
The Echo Base Quartet has played many shows through Missouri and has had the opportunity to share the stage with some very talented musicians including the Jauntee, Tom Hamilton and the American Babies, the Big Wu, and The Magic Beans as well as others. “
